How the year has flown and it’s December already! It ’tis the season to be jolly and what better way to kick off December festivities than by attending the 2014 Construction Marketing Awards which is always a good night and a great round up of the year. We celebrated this year’s event with a win and a highly commended!
The Insulating Britain campaign that has run over the course of the year was supported with a range of social media of which we naturally entered into the category ‘best use of social media’.
Supported with a fully integrated campaign comprising PR, advertising, email marketing and social media, we wanted the campaign to engage with customers face to face by talking to them, not selling to them. By identifying a social media campaign as the ideal way to communicate with peers, customers and potential consumers, it also helped to spread the company’s message in a more relaxed and conversational way.
This was executed through Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and our newest tool – Flipagram. Alongside these channels we also utilised the blog and continued to write about the latest updates surrounding the changes to the Regs and about the roadshow itself.
From these activities we were awarded winners for best use of social media!!
“Celotex have used social media to their advantage in the way all businesses should in the 21st century. Their social media strategy helped ensure that their Insulating Britain campaign was delivered on every level” Judges Comment
To top off the evening we also received highly commended for ‘Marketing Team of the Year’. Over the last twelve months our marketing team has continued the ambitious plans to increase brand profile and awareness amongst architects, specifiers and key decision-makers in the industry. With an innovative and creative approach to marketing, the company has been able to increase its market share and raise brand awareness.
We were delighted to be rewarded for our efforts surrounding the Insulating Britain campaign of which the whole company was involved in.
We look forward to what 2015 brings and as for next year’s awards…watch this space!
